Who are we?

SIAPA Theatre is a maverick theatre company in Malaysia best known for its innovative blend of contemporary puppetry and green theatre practices. Their visually stunning, yet environmentally sustainable productions are enriched by the integration of various artistic styles ranging from physical theatre, dance and the flow arts.

Founded in 2018, SIAPA Theatre was one of the few contemporary puppet theatre companies in the country that created and produced performances with mechanical foam puppets. It became their mission to inspire and share the magic of contemporary puppetry to children, adults and the young at heart throughout Malaysia and beyond.
